Tesla Model Y dominates Europe: best-selling vehicle overall

⚾ Tesla has just hit another home run with its Model Y, becoming the best-selling vehicle in Europe during the first quarter of 2023.

📞 In the recent earnings call, Elon Musk talked about the Model Y's incredible sales success. Not only did it perform spectacularly in Europe, but it also became the best-selling non-pickup in the United States. The Tesla Model Y is taking the world by storm.

⏬ Tesla has also recently introduced a new lower-price model of the Model Y, making it even more accessible to the masses. And that's not all - the Model Y is set to receive a substantial upgrade, codenamed “Project Juniper.”

Tesla wins Autopilot lawsuit

🎉 Tesla has successfully won a lawsuit in which a California state court jury found that the company’s Autopilot driver assistance system was not responsible for a car crash that occurred in 2019. The plaintiff, Justine Hsu of Los Angeles, alleged that her Tesla Model S veered into a curb while in Autopilot, causing significant injuries.

Hsu demanded over $3 million in damages, claiming flaws in the design of the airbag and the Autopilot system. However, the jury found that the airbag performed as it should and gave Hsu no damages.

❌ Tesla argued that Hsu deployed Autopilot on city streets, despite the user manual advising against doing so.

This ruling is a significant win for Tesla and its Autopilot system, which has come under scrutiny in the past for its safety features. Tesla has been preparing for more trials involving its Autopilot system, and this ruling will undoubtedly boost the company's confidence in its technology.

📰 In other news, Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently announced that the EV maker could launch full self-driving technology in 2023. The company's continuous innovation and breakthroughs in the electric vehicle industry are setting new standards for the industry, and this announcement only adds to their impressive achievements.
